INTRODUCTION

This project is the realization of a "furniture-compatible" DIY RGB lamp I made. it uses Arduino-based hardware. The whole project is DIY, both in the microcontroller part and in the lamp part.

REQUIRED PARTS FOR THE PROJECT:

ARDUINO PLATFORM PART:
1x ATMega328 Microcontroller
- 1x DIP Sockets Solder Tail - 28-Pin 0.3"
- 1x Basic LED - Green
- 1x Resistor 330 Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
- 1x Resistor 10k Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
- 1x Mini Push Button Switch
- 2x Electrolytic Decoupling Capacitors - 10uF/25V
- 1x Voltage Regulator - 5V
- 1x Crystal 16MHz
- 2x Capacitor Ceramic 22pF
- Some Female Headers
- Some Jumper Wires

LAMP PLATFORM PART

- 3x BC337 Transistors
- 2x 10k potentiometer
- 1x ON/OFF switch
- 1x ON/OFF/ON switch
- 2x Resistor 10k Ohm 1/6th Watt PTH
- Some 12v RGB led strip (I used 50cm)
- Some male and headers

I am Roberto Gallea, I am a Ph.D. in computer science working at the University of Palermo, Italy. I am involved in all kind of technological stuffs, both software and hardware, applied to a wide range of fields, such as multimedia, medical imaging, computer vision, digital arts and others.
